Deer Park Heights

Deer Park Heights is a scenic drive and animal encounter situated in the heart of Queenstown. The 5 kilometre road meanders through a working deer farm where visitors can feed tame animals, stroll walkways, picnic at scenic lookouts and check out some famous ‘Lord of the Rings’ film locations. Last year, the farm approached White Light to re-fresh their identity in preparation for re-opening their gates to the public for the first time in 11 years. It had to be fresh, modern and family-friendly whilst staying true to their reputation as one of Queenstown’s pioneering tourist attractions.

The result is a contemporary identity with graphic language that’s friendly but also speaks to the farm’s heritage. The classic serif typography compliments the sans-serif font of the logotype and the minimal colour palette reflective of the natural environment is bold enough to be memorable but subtle enough to allow the photography to shine which highlight’s the attraction’s stunning scenery and super cute animals.
